The TSRLF is a control unit for controlling an external actuator for setting up a transformer switching relay. It enables fast switching and switching of high-power single-phase transformers. External thyristors or solid state relays act as actuators.
The connected actuator is controlled via the soft switch-on method so that one or more single-phase transformers can be operated in no-load or under load without an inrush current. For example, welding transformers with rated currents above 32 A.
